<p>I would suggest that if you're trying to study these vocab words (really the best thing to do would be read a lot, but) that you look in a dictionary for the professsional definition, because I've seen a few errors, or bad definitions here. Just to pick one out, anachronistic means out of place in time/chronologically. For example, the movie mistake in Troy that you can see an airplane above him in one scene when they wouldn't have been invented for 2000 years, that would be called anachronistic. </p>

<p>Also, a better definition for expedient would be proper or suitable given the situation.</p>

<p>Anyways, one that I see all the time is ubiquitous - everywhere.</p>

<p>Oh, I guess I'll also take this opportunity to promote freerice.com, as you get into the 30+ vocab level range, SAT words start popping up like wildflowers. It's also for a good cause.</p>
