Please rank the colleges on the western front for pursuing MS in EE involving CSU and other states

I want to know about the CSU’s ranked according to the best offered in Electrical Engineering for MS, i’ll be applying this spring so I’m curious about the deadlines what are the best options for me i’m expecting a score of 310 with a woeful 93 nothing below 22 in the breakdown.

You need to go on the CSU website and find out which campuses accept spring admits in engineering. Many of them don’t. The majors may be closed for admission.

OOS fees are high for non-residents so expect to pay full fees.

Use this site to determine who will accept Spring 16 applicants for an MS in EE, their application deadlines, etc

" i’m expecting a score of 310 with a woeful 93 nothing below 22 in the breakdown."

I have no idea what that means.

OP is referring to the general GRE score (310) and the TOEFL score (93) with four sections, none of which have a score below 22 to add up to the total.

Thanks for they replied and my toefl score is 93 with nothing below than 22 in the breakdown well I’ve taken the Gre and I scored 306 q159 and verbal 147 can anyone please suggest me some good universities for electrical I’ve applied to Flordia State University
Colorado State university
csu Long beach
njit

What are my chances in these universities according to the marks I got

Please reply

Florida institute of technology instead of Florida state

The quantitative score on your GRE is a bit low but you certainly have a chance at those schools.

Thanks for the information @xraymancs I was also consider to apply to university of Dayton for technology management as well as UNCC(electrical) is there any hope that I’d able to secure a seat there

That 93 TOEFL, could be a problem. Most schools suggest 100 and above.

Okie actually no one told me to improve the toefl score they did it’s a minion requirement just get a score above 90 and you’d be fine!! :frowning:

Im thinking to short list UT - Arlington and UT Dallas can you please tell where do I have a better chance considering the university

At my school, Illinois Tech, we have a minimum of 80 (with no one section less than 20) for students not to have to take the ESL assessment. Your 93 should be fine.

All three of the schools you have mentioned should be fine.

thats what we have been told here as well and i shortlsted some other universities as well after checking the deadlines which are
1 Binghamton - SUNY
2 Illinois Institute of Tech
3 Stevens Institute of Tech
4 University of Huston (Cullen)
5 George Washington University
6 Rochester Institute of Technology

can any please segregate theses into categories like Ambitious, Moderate and Safe or let me know some more relative to these universities for EEE or Technology Management based on effectiveness of course and placements

Can the OP even write and speak English? The stereotyped idea that engineers don’t have to have decent communication skills is obsolete. I don’t know if the score of a 93 on the TOEFL is a problem or not but the poor English language skills will most certainly be a problem.
