Please rate this course load for me by using the 1-10 scale. 1 being the least rigorous and 10 being the most. Also if it’s not to much to ask, chance me for all UC’s. I currently have a 4.08 GPA. THANKS!
I’d say 4/10 for sophmore and junior but 6/10 for senior. Is this the most rigorous schedule your school has to offer? If it is though, you are fine. What are your SAT/ACT scores? It’s very hard to chance without them. You might get some more feedback on chances in the “What are My Chances” section.
Course load depends entirely on what your school offers. Some schools allow students to advance out of courses ad take AP classes as early as freshman year, while other schools bar students until junior year.
Your schedule looks pretty standard. Nothing really “wow!”, but again, it depends on your grade. Is AP Calc AB the highest math offered? At my school, Calc-based stats and multivariable calc are the highest courses; students who take those classes are very few (1-2 per year) and more often than don’t go to top schools.
I can’t chance you because your courseload and GPA alone won’t do very much; it is solid GPA though that puts you in the range of all of the UC schools, I believe. High for the lower UC’s like Riverside and Santa Barbara, but normal for UCLA, UCB etc. I think you know that. Post your EC’s, SAT/ACT scores, awards…look at previous chance me threads for templates. Even the chance-me threads following those guidelines often don’t provide enough info…but you can try!
