I'm a junior in high school
Do I have a chance at getting into UCF with these stats:

-3.0 UW GPA 3.1 W GPA
-Taken 6 dual enrollment classes so far:
1) English 1 - C+
2) Humanities - B
3) General Psychology - B
4) Macroeconomics - A
5) Developmental Psych - B
6) English 2 - B

-Haven't taken my SAT/ACT yet but I will soon and I plan on doing very well.
-Many Honors courses
-Earned Scholar of the month back in 10th grade for academic excellence.
-50 community Service hours (plan on earning much more)
-Psychology Club
-Humanities Club
-Shark Tag Club
-Made Dean's list at my community college one semester.
-3.0 College GPA but plan on getting it at least to a 3.2

Please tell me what my chances are of getting into UCF!!!! This is my dream school! Thank you in advance!

I think your chances are pretty good. UCF admits almost 50% of applicants and as long as you get above a 530 (critical reading), 550 (math), and 510 (writing) on the SATs and a 24 on the ACTs you should be all set.

Okay! That sounds about right! Thanks! Also, the only reason why I’m worried is because I recieved an F in my trigonometry class one semester I’m afraid they’ll see it and not consider me. But all I can do at this point is try! One more thing, when applying to the school, do you send your college transcripts with your high school trascripts or just your high school transcripts? If I don’t send my college transcripts when I apply, then I basically have no chance at all. :(

Look on their website under undergraduates admissions and it should inform you on all the details. It depends on what you got overall in the class, but this school isn’t too strict on applicants so I think you’ll be fine.

I just checked and the average GPA for undergaduate admissions is a 3.6 and above (recalculated), an SAT of 1730-1930 and 25-29 ACT. I think I can do well on both tests.

I hope when they recalculate my GPA, it will go up to at least a 3.2 or 3.3.

Just out of curiousity, do you know anybody that got into UCF recently with similar stats as mine?
