Okay, so I am getting a little worried now that all my apps have been submitted and after seeing my SAT II scores (the test kind of snuck up on me, and I had trouble deciding what to take, and didn't really have time to study); I am really hoping that my safety choice (UCSC) is actually a safety for me. Here are my stats (I will try to keep everything short so you don't get bored reading ;))

SAT I: rc=570 wr=590 m=620
SAT II: US History=450 Literature=450 (Stupidly took the history test after only taking a quarter of the class. I have no explanation for the other)

Essay: I don't mean to brag, but it was very very good ;)

Special circumstance: Live in an extremely rural area (450 residents of the nearest city. I live in the middle of a redwood forest, and go to a school with 24 kids). There aren't really any SAT prep classes where I live.

Talents / ECs: Computer programmer -- self taught HTML, PHP, C++, and Java. Top scorer at county poetry slam. HTML and math tutor/teacher. Editor and Art Director of school's literary magazine. School requires students to do 6 year long passages by the time we graduate. Created social networking website. Worked for 5 years at local cinema, and for a summer at a local caf

dnduswo: Do you mean that as in "Congratulations, your good," or "Well, you're F'd, you better start packing for a year off in Europe to make your self look more appealing."

I think my UC GPA is higher than that, because I got my lowest grades my freshman year. I had an average of a .2 increase every semester from freshman through sophomore years, and then it jumped from 3.86 to 4.15 from my sophomore to junior year. UC GPA just means from sophomore and junior year right?

You'll feel pretty much at home at UCSC--it's also in a redwood forest--and has a rural feel to it except for the fact that there are so many students. (I live about 7 miles from the campus).
