Please someone help!

I had talked to the admissions office and asked them about SAT's and when I had to submit them. The person told me it was when I submitted my application to the school, anytime before Jan 20th. I talked to two people and they both told me this. Now the funny thing is that apparently it turn out they were wrong and there is a separate date for submitting your scores and it has past. I saw the due date on college board and I called the office of admission to ask them about it, and once again they said don't worry about it. They are horribly wrong, correct? Recently I have been looking online for the information and everywhere I read it is confirming the office people were mistaken. So what do I do exactly? Should I even bother sending my scores in now or even applying for that matter? How stern are they with this deadline? Please any advise or help would me more that appreciated. I really love this school and want to attend.

If you send it in by school’s application due date, you should be fine. If you wanted to be considered for UMD’s honors college or scholarships and such, you had to send the info by Nov 1 (UMD’s priority due date). Obviously, you are too late for that. But for RD, however, you still have time. So, have the College Board send the scores in. Good luck.

There are two due dates, one for the priority deadline (that has passed) and one for the regular deadline, on Jan. 20th. If you send your scores in now, you should be fine. Stop wondering about it and just do it. Go on to collegeboard and send them, it only costs a few dollars.
