Please tell me if i hav the slightest chance

hey!
so i live in some developing country in africa and go to some "elite" boarding school in south africa. i really really want to go to princeton and its def my first choice. im probably top 10-15%. we don't rank at our school but we have the toughest corseload possibel (seriously)and get the best grade 12 results. as for SAT stats havent done any. (doin them in may).
my EC's include:
Debating
Basketball (the school team)
Interact (its a sub-division of Rotary and we do various community service projects) (ive probably done about 100hrs of community service the last year)
Stage manager for the school play
Lighting director for two school plays
did this private project thing on my own wher i raised a lot of money (about 100 000 US Dollars to pay for the medical costs of a girl who needed to do a small operation)

subjects include: math, english, bio, drama, spanish, french, hist. pupils are advised to take 6 subjects only but i take 7 (all on higher grade) along with 6 others students. i do great in all my subjects except math where i get a C (and i kno this is going to hurt) .

but do you think i stand a chance gettin into Brown? i write amazing essays and all and im not applying for financial aid.

Also im a girl

oh and is princeton a predominantly sciencey school or would a more arts inclined person like me fit in?

also would i be placed in a minority pool or something like that?

thanks!

The fundraising thing looks quite amazing. Apart from that I'd say your EC are fairly normal. A C will not hurt in admissions unless your transcript is dotted with them, especially in minor subjects such as Religion, Health, Art, etc...

Remember that for Princeton, financial aid is not a factor--they are need-blind. Brown is not needblind.

For Brown, I think you have a fair chance--assuming your SATs are above 2000 and your essays/recs/final transcript are great. Don't forget to take the Subject tests as well, and get an avg. of 700 on all the ones you take. (like 650 800 700 or some distribution like that)

If you are serious about going to Princeton, aim 2100+ on the SAT, maintain a high cumulative (as in total/final) GPA, and while you are considered a URM, you are at the same time considered an international student.

Even if you don't get in to the Ivy schools don't be disappointed because their acceptance rates are crazy low and most people who apply get rejected.

Princeton has great programs in both the sciences and arts...don't worry too much about it. Both the humanities and sciences are well represented...

thanks so much
