Would this be a good letter to send to a AP coodinator who has supposedly not turned in everyone's AP application and fees?? I'm kind of paranoid right now of the ap coordinator not having turned in only my application due to my parents (and a little bit of mine) view of him being racist and having acts of discrimination. What is the best way to confront these kind of people (if they indeed are-- btw, I try to treat him as a non-racist person but inside sometimes always a bit paranoid that he would do something against me)? He always seems pretty nice, but sometimes again he seems weird and suspicious like right now, claiming to not have "sent out anything and that the CST tests that are coming up this week are first." I don't want to express this feeling to him of course and don't want him to feel like I don't trust him (if he isn't really want I claim him to be). Can someone just read my letter that I want to send him about the exams. P.s. he has let me turn in my fees and sign up late and has given me a discount.

...and I've talked to you last week in the already about the AP exam. Please know that I'm not intending to bug you or anything and that I know you are super busy with all of the testing stuff that's going on right now. I'm just worried about whether or not we'll be able to take the AP exams on schedule. Are we all already signed up for the AP exams already? I'm studying very hard for the AP exams right now and I really don't want to miss this chance to put my knowledge and skills to the test. Thank you for having me sign up for the AP exams late though (I hope it wasn't too late?) and even allowing me to have a discount. =] All I would like to know is whether or not I'll be able to take the AP exams in May. Just a "yes" or, hopefully not, a "no," will do. lol. Thanks.

You need to address this situation immediately. The AP tests cannot be "rescheduled" because the paperwork didn't get turned in. If you miss it this year, you have to wait until next May.

Is the AP coordinator the same as your teacher? If not, talk to the teacher to make sure you are registered. Otherwise, talk with the counselor at your school.

Another option would be to register to take the test at another school in the area -- although it may be too late for that and would cost more $.

Consider calling the College Board (they administer the AP tests) and ask if your school is registered to take that test. They don't have individual registrations (I don't think) but they should be able to tell you if the school is registered.

You should have a written or electronic receipt for the money you paid. If so, assume that all is well. If not, send a letter from your parents asking for the recipt, and send a copy to the school's business manager. (You could call the College Board as suggested, but I don't know if that will work.) Is this a new arrangement at your school? Are you sure you understood what the counselor was saying about the registration process?

I would not assume racism on the part of anyone when a situation could easily be a misunderstanding or communication gap. Those are 100 time more common. In fact, assuming racism makes you guilty of sweeping judgments too, doesn't it?

So what if the coordinator told me that it was because that I turned my stuff in late that he wasn't able to get to them? It would still be her fault right? I mean he allowed me to turn it in late (was only a few days, mabye a week max late). I'm going to go talk to him first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully this will be resolved

OKay, I just called the AP coordinator's phone number and he said he will be away for STAR testing, AP testing until may 21 -_- So what should I do now. She probably still working on them but it seems soo late. Mabye I misunderstood. I, having turned in my forms late should be able to take the test right? thanks.

Send her an e-mail asking for confirmation that you are registered. Confirm the tests you have requested. Don't use the above letter - it sounds like you've panicked. Keep it simple and straightforward.

I've just checked today by going to the counselor and she said my name wasn't on the list but there are 31 tests and 28 people on the list for physics... Does your name need to be on the list or what? I don't get how the registration works and I'm still trying to contact the ap coordinator (calling, going to the office, -_-)
