PLEASE TELL ME MY CHANCES IM UNSURE WHETHER TO APPLY EARLY ACTION OR RD

Hi, i'm a senior in high school and Northeastern is definitely one of my top schools I would like to apply to. However, i'm unsure whether I should apply EA or RG.
I scored a 32 in ACTS (plan on taking it again and bumping it to either 33/34) and have an 1860 in SATS (plan on taking it again as well however I feel like I test ACT better). I have a 3.89 GPA UW, am #4 in my class. I've taken aps since my sophomore year and mainly have gotten A/A+'s in them. I've ran cross country and track since my freshmen year (varsity for cc sophomore year and varsity for track junior year). I'm also a part of the NHS. I feel like my test scores are my biggest issue so am undecisive whether I should apply EA with just my act score or wait for RG when i have both act and sat. PLEASE COMMENT IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

You seem like you have a decent chance of getting in; you can definitely apply early decision and you might get in, or you might get deferred and put in the regular applicant pool so there’s really no reason to not go early action. I would definitely not send your SAT scores, as they are on the low side though

You look good to me.

You will surely be admitted, but as already mentioned, don’t send the SAT. Are you looking for scholarships? They give awards at admission, or used to, at least. The question is, if you are admitted and then get a higher test score, can you submit it to try for merit, or more merit? I don’t know their policy. Perhaps someone else here does. But your best bet is to contact them and ask. If they don’t revise merit based on updates, it might be beter to wait.

Thank you so much everyone. I havent researched about their merit awards but definitely will!

I think you should do early action/decision!
Becuase if you don’t in, you will at least defintetly get deferred and have a second chance to get in :-)
