Please tell me they're joking..

Today I received a response to my problem with a course deficiency.

I didn't explain why I lack a second year of Spanish, and emailed with my problem. I received the response and it said

"Before we can begin reviewing your application, we will need a thorough explanation of why you did not take a second year of foreign language." Then it rambled on about the review process etc.

I gave them the response, quite thorough, and am confident in it. That isn't my beef..

My application has been in since 10/22 (fully). Now tell me, today being 11/24, why it took them a month to tell me they needed to know why I didn't take spanish before they start reviewing my app. Why couldn't they have been reviewing it already, or have told me this earlier?

Or am I reading too much into poor wording?

it took them this long prolly because they already reviewed your app and just are waiting for your “excuse” to give you a decision… i think.
i may be completely wrong. this is just a guess.

Hmmmm

I would hope so, I’m dying for my decision :</p>

they have thousands of apps to read… most people who submitted their apps in late october haven’t heard anything from the admissions office yet.

Yeah. you get screwed. we just gotta deal with it.

Got All my stuff in Sep. 30th. Then they put my transcripts with another student. Then they told me I wasn’t ER eligible. So i got my principle to call them. In which they figured out what they did and now I’m ER but just gotta wait.

your in the boat with all the other kids that are just sitting here on their computers. waiting. waitingggg. waitinnnnnggggggg… and waitiiinnnnnggggggggg.
