GREAT Essay

Tough call. School has a 48% acceptance rate, you have competitive SAT numbers, 650hrs comm service, and a low gpa. I'd say you'd be in if you had the gpa, but w/o the gpa numbers they want you become a reach. You have a shot; you're way closer to a slight reach than a big reach. Good luck; where else are you looking?

ursinus, muhlenberg, tcnj....

And i did ED to Roch if thats improves my chances at all

TCNJ - reject
Muhlenberg- reject

GPA is just too low

bump................

Alright, w/ your list Ursinus (match) seems like the best bet. Would you be happy there or are you interested in looking at some other schools? If so, where (location) would you like to go?

in the NE, small, very good for pre med, similar to ROchester.

Hmm...maybe try looking @: Roger Williams University, U Mass Amherst, Rhode Island College, and/or Quinnipiac University.

ump................... what do u guys think are my chances at Rochester

If it's any help, my son got into UR regular decision (UR '06) with a 3.3 from a prestigious prep school, higher SATs but lower ec's. Good essay and recs. I think you have a decent chance. Good luck!

thanks, anyone else?

bump.........................................
