So, I am the technical director for my school’s Drama Club, meaning that I’m in charge of planning and implementing the technical side of all of our plays. As part of that, I design, plan, and lead the building of the set for each show that we put on. Would it make sense to include pictures/designs of those sets as an art supplement?
No, but that is a good EC.
I think maybe it depends on what those sketches look like. Picasso sketches and DaVinci sketches definitely are art, and I don’t even know anything about art. But if the sketches are more technical, and not themselves outstanding art, then my guess (GUESS) is that they wouldn’t be considered art. One thing I think maybe you can do is to put your stuff into Flickr, Wordpress or somewhere like that, and include a link somewhere in your application. My daughter did that with some crafts she designed, built and donated to a homeless shelter. I have no idea if anyone checked the link, but that is what she did. I also don’t recall if the link was included in her list of EC’s or an essay, but am pretty sure it was in the app. somewhere.
