PLUS Loans - Parent Denied?

<p>My mom was going to apply for the PLUS loan to help toward paying my tuition.</p>

<p>She lost her job a few mos ago and is not working.</p>

<p>Will she still be able to qualify for a PLUS loan? If she's denied because of no income, can I then apply for more Stafford money?</p>

<p>If she applies and is turned down you are eligible for an additional $4000 in Stafford loans. But she must actually apply and be turned down.</p>
