Plz Chance Me!! Thank You

sorry about that i though I had started a new thread...lol
i'm new in this...he he

I say this a lot, but the fact that you're even posting your stats and are on CC shows that you are determined and committed to getting that acceptance letter, which already leads me to believe you have a good shot.

It's too early to tell you that you have a good shot or a bad one, but I will say that you're on the right track. Don't worry about the essay, just be sincere. Be enthusiastic and ask questions during interviews, display your interest where you can. The fact that you're applying ED already displays interest in the college.

I apologize if I repeated any advice that has already been said, I didn't really read any other posts.

ok thank you for your adivce!
that was kind of the vibe i got from the other threads - just be interested and sincere

KK18, good luck and let us all know how it goes! Are you doing an on-campus one? I am, but mine isn't until August.

You people all sound so awesome and interesting. It'd be so cool if we all ended up at school together :-)

i'm excited.
part of the reason i wanted to go to wellesley was because i knew it will take some extremely passionate and unique women to apply. And i really want to meet all of them and be a part of it too!

yes. hopefully we'll all get in crosses fingers

Yes-I'm interviewing on campus on July 25! Oh-I was just reading in the red packet that Wellesley sent us, and there is a quote by a student there. "Choose your college based on who you want to become, not necessarily on who you are as a senior in high school." I just love that because that is such a big reason of why I love Wellselsy so much, that the college makes you feel like you can do anything. Everyone empowers each other, and tells you do dream big, but not only to dream but to go out and make your dream come true! Ok-enough of my love letter to Wellesley, I'm just excited that's all-really honest!

you ladies sound amazing!!! dai17yi... don't sweat the essays. just hunker down with some tea or cocoa or something and capture the intense interest that i can see from reading your posts onto the page... and my opinion is that you'll be golden =]

KK18... best of luck on your upcoming interview!!! remember that it's okay to be nervous... just don't let the nerves consume you. ha... my interview was 100 percent impromptu, i was on my way to my grandmother's house (she lives in medfield... reallyyy close to campus =] ) and since i had met an admissions officer at a local college fair and really hit it off with her, my mother and i decided to take a look at the campus. we ended up in the admissions office, and i mentioned anna young's name (she was the admin i had met previously) and before i knew what was happening we were sitting on these incredibly beautiful and COMFY sofas in the admission "sitting room"... talking about my interest in wellesley.
i was petrified. the first five minutes i was nervous and shaking because i had not prepared myself AT ALL...
but the amazing thing was, it was awesome! after i'd chilled out i felt so comfortable!!! =]

if either of you have any questions about what freshman year at wellesley is like i'd be more than happy to answer them for you, as i'll be experiencing it first hand shortly!!!
best of luck girlies!!! =]

Thank you so much! I am so excited. I had an interview at a college in NYC today and kept thinking "hmm-this is a good school, but I think Wellesley is better. Hmm-I wonder what my Wellesley interview will be like. Hmm-will they give me pizza?!" Lol-I was a little distracted, wasn't I? I was a little sad-this college really didn't try to sell themselves to me. I know I was interviewing for them, but I always thought it was a little of give and take. I felt as though the interviewer really didn't care-so that put me a little off. But it was good practice for next week!! Eeek-so soon!

awww, thanks onomatopoeia!
your advice is much appreciated

and good luck KK!
hope you IMPRESS the "judge"! ha~~ i bet i would be comparing every college i interview with with Wellesley
