I am an international student . I have GPA of 3.75 , toefl 633 pbt, in SAT I hope to get 1900-2000,I have few extra curricular(essays, poem, elocution, school prefect at grade 10, social service 20 hours etc). I have got good recommendation and my school was one of the best in the country(392 out of 5000) are accepted. I lie in top 5% of the class. I am planning to give SAT II on physics math and chem on this dec and hope to score way above sat(2300+ because cr of SAT is comparatively hard for us).

I hope to study engineering(most probably electrical or computer). I need aid( I can manage up to 8000 per year.)

I have not applied yet. In which colleges or universities will I most probably get selected with sufficient aid.

Thank you for your perseverance. I would be most thankful if I get some help.

I cannot really help you Megaaadi, because I am in the exact same position as you are.

I am also an international student, with you exact same GPA,Toefl and SAT1.
I am also having trouble with the CR section on the SATs.
What I would recommend you to do is go to either collegeboard.com or princetonreview.com, register and check out what they say about the colleges there, because both publish SAT scores and GPAs for every university.

Hope this helps a bit
By the way, where are you from? I'm from the Netherlands

i guess all of us international students are in the same boat, best of luck with your SAT and i am sure their is a college out there for you-This won't help much because i am not planning on doing engineering so i don't know much about those uni's but if your looking for aid then check out some private UNI's- also try Purdue University and Urbana Champaign.
