Poem in additional info section?

Hi.

In my common application, I touch on my sexuality in my essay and stuff. But I was wondering if I should include a poem I wrote about homophobia in the additional information section? It’s pretty moving, and I feel like it will make me stand out as well as humanize me a bit more.

Would this be too taboo?

Thanks

I wouldn’t.

My friend got into Brown and he included poems in his additional information section. He didn’t touch on anything such as sexuality, but the poems were definitely distinguishing because he didn’t have any major hooks or exceptional scores and essays.
