Pointers on ACT?

<p>I'm going to take it tomorrow and wonder what can help me to score better. (I haven't studied)</p>

<p>Can you guys help me specifically on the writing and reading. During those sections I tend to lose focus. Like when I'm reading a passage, at any given of it I don't know what its talking about. I guess I'm a slow reader.</p>

<p>Also I have a surplus of time in math and science, while I don't have enough time on the reading and English.</p>

<p>So guys any strategies?</p>

<p>Edit: On my practice test I got 30s on both science + math; a really low score for the others.</p>

<p>I also got 30’s in math and science and english and reading keep holding me back. Were the second scores any better? Have you learned anything/tip/pointers on the english or reading that could help me when I retake in October?</p>

<p>yeah i improved my score. i did better the second time i took it b/c i had practice. its the name of the game. unfortunately my science went down :(</p>

<p>i got a 27 :frowning: I know I could easily get a 30.</p>
