Pointless thread but read it anyway

Hell yeah, Jimmy. My parents found $100 in a Home Depot and decided to keep it.

Two weeks later, my mom takes me and my brother to get a physical, and when we were ready to leave, we found that our van had been towed. Total cost: $129.

But wouldn't that be RAOK?

I can't spell, whups. Fixed it.

Random Of Acts Kindness. x]]]]

If no one claims it, I'll probably use it to help the volunteer program I work at. I work with kids by helping them play tennis, and they keep losing the tennis balls. We started with about 200 and now we have maybe 30 at tops lol..

You can buy a lot of tennis balls with $100.

=] Tennis. <3_<3 Hhhhmm me and you should go against each other. xD Hehehe.

OMG Harry!!! !_________!

Yeah, I'll definitely call the store tomorrow and see what's up. Thanks for the opinions, guys.

=] Welcome KRabble. xD Don't forget to get my oreos! Just kidding.

Go Shopping!!! Duh!!

use the money and invest in stocks, then when you have more $ then you started with, return the 200$ :):)

Haha.. it would be funny if I ended up winning it big too! Then everyone on the CC forum will be getting $200! (Not from me of course lol jk) ;)

Finders keepers, losers wheepers.

After calling the manager of the grocery store, this is what I learned:

This type of incident is not particularly unusual, because customers come with significant amounts of cash so they can convert it into a money order (however normally customers come to get money orders that are less than $50)

I'm not sure whether it is a store policy or the township law, but if the amount of money lost is more than $500, then it should be reported to police

No one has claimed to have lost the money (as of today), and through his experiences, the manager has told me that the chances of anyone coming to the store and asking for the missing money is minimal

Because I'm in no rush of buying anything or spending this, I'll wait a little longer before actually using it or even putting it into the bank- incase anyone does report lost money. I hope this helps anyone else, if it a similar situation should occur, and thanks for the input.

I'm still rooting for the doggie to get it.

for sure take care of your dog man...seriously. If your parents continue to pay for the vet visits it's not a problem, but if the money is tight take care of the pooch first, yourself second...after all, you can always earn money the dog can't.

I would report to the police. BTW check for any identification cards.

And also check for Subway sandwiches. If you find any of those, send them on over to me.
