<p>Okay, I did it. It was epic. Like a zillion GROWN-UPS even told me they liked it. lolololol. Everything else at graduation was… pretty boring. I’m glad I did it, even though as soon as I walked in and saw everyone there, it FINALLY hit me that I was going to be talking about POKEMON in front of 7000 people. woah.</p>

<p>dude, i really don’t wanna write my speech either. i feel like if i just pulled out harry potter in the middle and started reading a passage from it, the majority of the students wouldnt’ even notice. how sad.</p>

<p>A surprising thing is a ton of juniors at my school are starting to pick pokemon back up. It is kind of like a retro novely thing. And I don’t hang around with a bunch of nerdy nosebleeds. I’m talking varsity hockey and football players.</p>

<p>I finished LeafGreen ages ago, but I’m playing it again on an emulator so I can play at school :smiley: Plus it doesn’t run out of battery all the time like a GameBoy.</p>

<p>(Does anyone still play the TCG though? I dug out all my old cards a few weeks ago and sorted them out. The number of holographic cards I have is rather amazing.)</p>

<p>you guys seriously play(ed) gold/silver version and all the other crap after red/blue/yellow? I don’t have any sort of respect for anyone who didn’t stick with old school red/blue/yellow since they were the original 150 pokemon and the new ones aren’t real. Idc if you catch 300 new pokemon- gotta catch the 150 originals to be a real master.</p>
