<p>I’m kind of deterred because of the 179 part</p>
<p>It’s a one hour a week lecture. Ross doesn’t actually teach, but he brings in speakers to talk about political issues (state, national, international, blahblah). There is apparently no homework or midterm, but a final that is T/F and pertains to the lectures. Others have said the class is very easy, and since it is P/NP you just need a certain percentage right on that T/F final to “pass.” Apparently he makes the final harder if people are rude to the speakers haha.</p>
<p>Oh and the lectures are webcasted, so you don’t have to really go. I mean, it’s a 700 person class. I bet at least half don’t show.</p>

<p>If you’re a guy, not showing is the dumbest thing you can do. There is an incredible amount of hot girls in the class. I learned the hard way. I showed up for the final, passed the class, and left sad that I missed a tremendous opportunity. </p>
<p>It’s a good 13th unit if that is what you are doing.</p>
