<p>My son plans to major in journalism, but is also very interested in political science. Anyone have insight into the departments at these two schools?</p>
<p>I can't speak for Wisconsin, but I know UMCP has a very good journalism school and a public policy department--the former has been top ranked for some years now.</p>
<p>well wisconsin isnt the easiest public to get into and political science is their most popular major, so that could be saying something.</p>
