Political discussion club unimpressive re. college applications?

The summer before my junior year, I co-founded a club at my school for political discussion. I’m the acting vice-president, possibly the president next year. The club’s purpose is to inform young people about political current events and the importance of having diverse opinions in political discussion, and understanding political thoughts different than one’s own. We usually prepare a few topics and information on them for each club and present the information from both a conservative and liberal viewpoint (I’m the liberal representative of the club) and then open the floor to discussion about the topics and possible bipartisan solutions. While I love the club and how it operates, and am excited to include it in my college applications, based on what I’ve heard, our club’s non-material purposes and accomplishments may not be impressive enough to colleges. Do we need to have some sort of community involvement, or other aspect of the club to make it more influential somehow? If so, does anyone have any suggestions for components we could incorporate into the club that colleges would see as impressive?

Just do what you sincerely enjoy and stop looking at colleges for approval. Enjoy it!

Thanks, but no. I am doing what I love, I love politics and discussing it, however I also love college acceptance and financial aid from good colleges and planning to receive those things, so if there’s something I can do to both enhance the club that I love that would also enhance my attractiveness re. college admissions then, that’s what I’m looking for.
