Political Science 112B: History of Political Theory as a breadth course

Does anyone have any information on this specific class?

I’m an incoming freshman who’s interested in Phase II’ing this class, but I wasn’t able to find much information about it online. I’m planning on taking it as a P/NP to fulfill the Historical Studies breadth requirement, but I’m also considering ESPM50AC.

What’s the courseload in the class like? Are we supposed to take Pol Sci 112A before 112B? Are most people taking the class taking it as a breadth or to fulfill major requirements? Most importantly: is it fun/interesting?

Have you checked Berkeleytime? The grade curve looks a little tough. Most first year students would be better off in a lower division class.
