Hey,
I have just been accepted into UCD, UCSC, UCI, and UCSB with UCSB being my top choice. I was wondering if anybody here has had any experience with the social science programs at any of these schools? More specifically Political Science and Economics as it is likely that I will be majoring in one or the other. Thanks.

I'm in the same position as you are! But I've heard nothing but good about UCSB's social science programs (especially political science and history) which led me to choose SB in the end.

i am a current double-major at ucsb (political science with an emphasis in international relations, and business economics with an emphasis in accounting).

both apartments are great! our graduate polisci is ranked 8th in the nation. if you are into accounting at all, our program is heavily recruited by the big 4

Awesome. Thank you very much for the replies guys, I really appreciate it. What you are doing Awakenedream seems exactly like my current plan. Double major in Econ. and Poli. Would you recommend this course of action? Or is sticking to one major better? Thanks in advance.
