Political Science and International Studies

What jobs are available for these types of majors? I heard not to major in poly sci, because too many people major in that.

Also, I am strongest at writing and language, but I really like science. Should I go for a science major instead? Not to sound selfish, but I would like to make a big paycheck :)

International Studies/Foreign Policy/International Relations is good if you want to work in a diplomatic job working with different nations and cultures. That’s what I plan on majoring in, and I hope to go into the Foreign Service.

Political Science is more generic and I would not consider it as my major.

Making a big paycheck doesn’t require a nifty degree it requires you to be passionate about what you do. And you should probably expect something between 40-60k coming out of college depending on a lot of factors. It’s not selfish to shoot for the stars but don’t be shocked when you land on a scooter
