Political Science At Harvard

just kiddin' i'm not applying to harvard but just wanted to ask what schools are noted for good poli sci departments/faculty?

i'm an international student, asian, and have crappy gpa and so-so SATs.
gpa: 3.2/4.0 (unweighted)
sat: 600V, 510M, 510W

I'm going to take the SAT ii's soon.

what schools would you recommend for me???

bumpbumpbumpbumpbump

why not try harvard, who knows, maybe you too could be the next secretary general of the Untied Nations

well... with my stats... i don't think that'd be possible... at least in terms of harvard that is..
secretary general of UN.. who knows... but that's far ahead!

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

I am applying for Poli Sci as well but I kinda have better scores than you do (42 predicted IB score, predicted 2250 SAT etc (havent done them yet but thats what I got in most practice tests) and a 3.98 GPA))

What I found in my research, though, is that the best Poli Sci universities are Yale, Harvard, Cal Berkeley, Princeton, Stanford etc. but there are some great ones that could be perfect for you such as:

Tufts University
University of Texas at Austin
UCSD

etc.

You won't get into Tufts with a 3.2 gpa and those SAT scores. Think more of American U and GWU.

yeah of course the ivies are a given, but ya like lolabelle said... i think i need to be realistic and find i guess '2nd tier' schools that can still give me a good education..
