Political Science at UMD

Hey guys, I'm thinking of going to UMD next year and majoring in Political Science. I'm also thinking about going to law school, so maintaining a good GPA is huge. I was wondering how hard it was to maintain a high GPA with a political science major. Are political science classes curved?

As a Government and Politics major (soon to be a double major with Arabic), the Gov curriculum is considered pretty easy overall, at least compared to many other school departments. Most of the classes aren’t curved but they don’t need to be, as people tend to get As and Bs on the assignments without any curve. I’ve gotten As and A+'s in all my Gov classes without much effort (compared to language classes which can be harder), and many people have the same experience.

If you have any questions about being a Gov major at UMD, feel free to message me - I’m not on here very often so I might not see it right away but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! :)
