Hi!
Looking for first hand experiences with the political science departments (one of the majors I’m considering, alongside history) at any of these schools. What are the classes like? How are the research opportunities? How interdisciplinary is it? How competitive is the major?
Any info on history at any of these schools is also appreciated!
Have you looked at the faculty rosters and course listings at each school to see which subareas of each subject are well covered and emphasized by each department?
In comparing the LACs, you may want to research whether any offer a term-length program in Washington, D.C., which represents a propitious sign for government / political science departments in general.
