Political Science or Business?

I have just completed my application for Cal Poly but I haven’t submitted it because I am unsure what to major in. I am currently debating between a political science major or some type of business major. I am wondering if you guys could give me some information on if either of the majors are eaiser to get into and once you get in, how the majors (such as classes, teachers, and reputation) are for Cal Poly specifically? Any help will be greatly appreciated

I think the business program is probably more well known than the poli sci program. I think the business school is actually considered one of the best in the west. But if you like both subjects, maybe you could major in one and minor in the other.

Don’t go to Cal Poly if you are going to major in Poli Sci. And if you do go to Cal Poly, then choose Business.

Cal Poly’s liberal arts are so so as you would guess for a technical university.

CP’s college of business school is substantially better than its liberal arts department. It has better reputation, stronger job placement track record, better funding, and stronger faculty.

In fact, CP’s business is viewed favorably in recent Wall Street Journal corporate recruiter ranking.
