Political Science Transfer Student

Hello,

I’m currently in the process of transferring from a community college as a Political Science major. I’m really interested in International Relations, and my goal after College, and maybe the Peace Corp is to get into a top International Relations graduate program (Johns Hopkins, Georgetown?) I have been accepted to the Political Science Program at UF already, and I am waiting to hear back from FSU, but I called admissions and they told me I should be accepted. The issue I am having with UF is that I was unaware of a Statistics requirement prior to the end of last semester (advisers assured me my current math classes were fine), so I am in the process of taking 2 online classes and have to take an express statistics class. UF Orientation is also the day before finals for me and the drive and whole orientation would destroy my studying possibilities for that day. My late graduation would also affect my housing situation down there. FSU is more cut and dry. I have family that live there, and I like the school. Is risking housing and forcing myself to take an express statistics class worth the headache of going to UF?

TLDR:
Accepted to UF
Waiting to hear back from FSU
Going to UF would be a logistical headache, but doable
Is it worth it to go to UF?

Thank You
