I’m looking into attending Bryn Mawr, and I’ve been speaking with Mawrters about the culture of BMC. Overall, it looks wonderful. However, are the political tastes of the majority of students too far left for a conservative student to be happy there?

What do you mean by conservative? A libertarian student wouldn't raise too many eyebrows, but a fan of W would be one of a minuscule minority at BMC. If politics just don't matter to you very much, then that might not be a big deal. If you are a fairly vocal/involved conservative, though, you will face a LOT of opposition, some of which may get personal. This page suggests that there's an active chapter of College Republicans, though: http://www.brynmawr.edu/activities/studentorganizations.shtml#political

If I were you, I'd email the students who are listed as the leaders of the group and ask them how the experience has been.
