would the students at northwestern be considered very liberal left winged or conservative? I am looking for a school that is very diverse and liberal.

Read the Northwestern Daily-the campus on-line newspaper. it will give you a good feel for how liberal/conservitive the student body is.

The Daily's not JUST online newspaper, but it is just additionally available online at http://www.dailynorthwestern.com/

And your point

The point is you said it was an on-line newspaper, implying that it was ONLY an online newspaper, which is wrong. And thus needed a correction.

I said the campus on-line newspaper. Although, it was mighty nice of you to include the link. Save your breath on issues that really matter!

iam applying to NU too. i hope its more conservative :)

Ummmm from what I've heard, it's not on the conservative side, though there are conservatives who go there. Not the majority though.

yay for liberals

i think nu is pretty moderate (meaning liberal, but less liberal) as far as top 15 schools go.

I just visited this past weekend and I got a very liberal and diverse feel from my campus visit. I know someone who goes and they are a minority and kinda on the liberal side so what I'm saying is from personal experience. Take it with a grain of salt.

It's a liberal-leaning campus like most other top universities, but there are a good deal of politically moderate and conservative students.
