POLL: What was your gpa last year?

I didn't get a gpa (8th grade) last year
so I can't tell you mine

4.0 (uw); 4.6667 (w)

Wow, impressive!

But wait, what scale does your school use?

EVERYONE INCLUDE YOUR GPA SCALE!!!

Thank you! But it’s really not as impressive as a lot of other people I know and on CC.

The scale is the common 4 points for regular classes, 5 points for Honors and AP classes.

oh, but no in betweens? like no 3.7 for an A-?

Dang your school gives you 5 for honors too? Ours only gives us 4.5 for honors and 5 for AP

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

9000

9000char

I have always wondered about the A- thing, but I’ve never found out about it since it was my freshman year and I haven’t yet got an A-. I should ask someone about that.

And yes, surprisingly, we do get 5 points for all Honors classes.

4.0 (uw) 4.5 (w)

Unweighted: 4.0

Weighted: 5.12

GPA is a pointless system, and one that I’m very glad we don’t have here.

4.0 UW, 4.857 W

4 = A
4.5 = A in honors class
5 = A in AP class

We go by semester and forever… Last semester was 102.something and overall is 100.38.

3.6 UW, assuming 4.0 = 100, though I think my school makes 100 = 4.5

Weighted is 4.6 on a 6.9 scale…even though 6.9 isn’t possible to achieve. I think the highest possible is 5.9. So let’s say 4.6/5.9

4.0 UW
4.375 W
$.5 for honors 5.0 for AP’s 4.0 for electives and on level classes

4.0 UW (90-100 = 4)

My actual grade average is like a 96 UW, or something xD. My weighted grade is 100.4

I stil have no idea how it’s possible to get a 5 weighted out of 4. You can not get a 125 average.

mine’s really weird:
A+=4.33
A=4.00
A-=3.67
B+=3.33
B=3.00… etc etc etc
for honors, you gain a .33 and for AP you gain a .67
I had 3.90 uw and about 4.33 w

3.75 UW (my school doesn’t weight Honors OR AP classes :I) out of 4.0.

4.0(UW) 4.7ish(W)
