Whats your job if you have one?
How much do u get paid?
How did u get this job?

Jeez! Look on the career services sites for your/other universities. All the stats are there for you to crunch!

I am a security guard still after all these years. In my opinion its the best job a college student could have. I worked 40 hours a week and kept a full course load right through graduation. You can study and do your schoolwork, while getting paid for it. Now after I graduated the key is finding another job.

I've heard many times that security guard is a perfect job for a college student just because of the reasons you said. Who woulda thunk?

I echo that sentiment fivefold. I have boatloads of time a day (8 hours) were you have nothing to do but your homework. It is by FAR the perfect job for a college student. Just be sure that when you are hired that you get a post where you are allowed to do schoolwork.

I work at a coffeehouse about 15 hrs/wk for $6.55/hr (just got a raise!). I got this job through my stellar connections...ha. Actually, I walked in to get a bagel right after someone quit and the manager was panicking.

worked as a go-for/secretary (kinda) in an agency for 12/hr....it "pays" to know someone...that was my first job ever and I worked for 4 months (summer break) and another 4 months the following year. The boss liked me so he said I will always have a job in the summer as long as he's the boss there. Make sure to make a good first impression...not only do your job but have a good personality. :)

I'm a high school senior and a violinist. I play for weddings, parties and stuff like that. My usual rate (I go through an organization) is about $40/hour but I have also gotten $50 or $75/hour for some gigs.

The only unfortunate thing is that jobs are infrequent. 3/month if I'm lucky, but usually more like 1 a month :(.

I work as a clerk for a law firm for 15+ hours/week at $9/hour, but I just got a raise after a year and a half+ I got the job through a friend who was graduating, and they said they needed someone. I started in the summer and have been working ever since. I don't have ANY opportunity to do homework, but it's great for my resume, especially if I want to go to law school...plus it's good money.

I work as a medical assistant and being with my job for 3 years I get 15.68/hour. I love my job and I have been in the field since high school. Just recently I began teaching memdical assisting as well as practicing it and we get paid by the semester depending on how many classes you take on, but since thats an easy job I can teach a few. They are only 2 nights a week with one night of online grading! Get in to the med field people, you make good money you pick your hours and you get to help people to boot!
