Hi guys! Well im a QB finalist applying to Pomona through RD. But so far I haven't heard anything from them yet. They're the only school that haven't send me an email regarding the status of my application. I emailed them twice already but no reply. I'm planning to call tommorrow. Has this happen to any of you?

Sameee! I really don’t want to be one of those annoying people that bugs the admissions office but I’m kinda worried at this point, especially since we had to mail that one sheet to them and snail mail can get kinda sketchy… :/

I’m having the same problem, but with Brown instead of Pomona.

@rotflmaospencer: i know what you mean! snail mail is really unreliable…i’ve had to track multiple packages that got lost along the way. -_- And they did say on that supplement sheet that if they don’t get it by the deadline, then our file will be incomplete. I’ve been too busy preparing for my brown interview that i forgot to call today. But definitely tomorrow.

@FallenAngel9: you should definitely contact them. I’ve been getting emails from Brown since the beginning. After the National College Match thing, they even sent me a letter saying I should apply RD to Brown. And my friend, who did not rank Brown, but applied RD, still got emails from them. So it’s definitely unusual for you to not get anything from them…

Well I did get two emails in response to questions I had regarding submitting the QB app, and about a week after the deadline for the CommonApp I got a message asking me if I wanted to answer a few questions regarding any specific program I might be interested in since I used the QB app instead of the CommonApp (which asked applicants about those programs). I assume this email means that my app has been received.

I just haven’t received the account information to track my app and everything.

Called Pomona guys. Said they haven’t processed everything yet so not to worry.

On the same boat, the wait for everything makes me nervous, but at least schoolwork keeps us busy.

Today I received an e-mail about Pomona online application tracking. I checked my application materials and everything had been received except my mid-year report.

My counselor completed the common app midyear form online over a week ago, but will not mail out midyear reports with the official common app midyear form. According to my counselor, he chose to upload common app midyears; therefore, he must only upload midyear reports and cannot mail common app midyear reports for his entire career–he told me this is a rule. When I called Pomona, the admissions officer informed me that no such rule existed and that the midyear report must be mailed, not uploaded because I used the Questbridge application, with the official common app midyear form. It is probably impossible for me to persuade my counselor to mail a midyear report with the common app midyear form due to his firm belief in this “consistency rule”. What should I do?

Apparently, only Pomona is requiring the common app midyear form, so should I ask for my midyear transcript to be sent without the common app form and hope the admissions officer I talked to was wrong? Did everybody else send their midyear report to Pomona with the official common app form?

Has anyone else received the e-mail stating that we must submit our supplement to Pomona? I am also a finalist and applied RD to Pomona and had my QB app forwarded over.
I called the location but the lady, who isn’t specialized in QB stuff, just confirmed what I already knew, which was that the Pomona supplement was incomplete. I tried e-mailing the QB rep there and have not received a reply since. The incomplete materials must be submitted by this Monday, February 28. Any input anyone? :/
