Pomona, Occidental, or Claremont Mckenna for International Relations

These are my top three schools that I will hear from next week so I'm trying to decide which one I want to go to most. Does anyone know about the International Relations programs at these schools or anything else about the schools that you don't hear about from the admissions representatives?

I think considering your intentions of “international relations” the connections you could potentially make at Claremont & Pomona, i believe, will be a lot stronger than those at Oxy.
I’d make the choice between Claremont & Pomona.

Pomona has Oldenborg Center, which hosts IR related lectures, seminars, films, etc.

However, Claremont McKenna’s specialties include IR. I’d say go CMC definitely, they have a reputation for a very good IR program.

We toured the Claremont Colleges in February. We were very impressed with CMC, in fact I’d rather my son goes there than Stanford. Very open to all points of view. Distinguished guests from all persuasions regularly visit the college to speak.

But I’ll never forget the completely uneducated Pomona student who ate lunch with us. She was a junior political science major and it appeared that she had never read a political science or history book in her life. Now I know that it’s just a single example and we could have been very unlucky, but still, she’s the one that the college chose to display to us. No way I pay $200,000 for the education she’s getting.
