<p>I’m sorry you haven’t got a reply. As far as I know San Luis Obispo has a better reputation than cal poly for almost everything. I am far from 100% sure on this though. I would do some more research and hopefully someone with more knowledge will respond.</p>

<p>People don’t go to SLO for a number of reasons, but the major one is because they didn’t get into SLO. Distance and cost of living is a big factor. Most of the engineering majors that I know at Pomona already have kids and work. That’s not typical, but it is a reason.</p>
<p>As far as being from India, he should go to SLO for the biggest return on his investment. However, Cal Poly Pomona is not a joke. You will get a great education here.</p>

<p>If Pomona kids are rejects from all schools, they why do you bother trolling the Cal Poly Pomona section of CC. It sounds to me like you’re an insecure SLO kid that finds the need to urinate around the superiority of SLO. In my mind, both Cal Polys would be a great choice for computer sci and should be considered equally while I do acknowledge that SLO deserves universal praise, though Pomona is not far behind. By no means is Pomona a school for reject kids.</p>
