Prompt 1: For Pomona students, the College’s location in Southern California is integral in shaping their experience. Tell us about a location, real or fictional, that has shaped you in a meaningful way. (400-600)
and described my introverted nature that turned into my strong involvement with tutoring children and adults through the library’s free services and programs. Is this too cliché? I try to make it personal by discussing my introvertedness and from not liking children to feeling pride in youth’s accomplishments in learning.
Also, how important is the 400-600 word count? I’m at 700 words…
knowing that I honestly couldn’t cut it down anymore. The admissions said they usually read essays around a page long so I made my essay into one single page. Don’t worry I think whatever you submitted it’ll be fine!
