has anyone emailed them and gotten a response? i emailed them a few days ago, but haven’t heard back at all D:
Just called. They said we should get emails “by June 1st.”
I just called them today and got the same answer too, sigh.
People have already gotten waitlist notifications (posting intros on the FB group saying they were admitted from the WL) so I’m sure that the number of those accepted off the waitlist now will be very few and far between as the months roll by.

I’m an admitted student. I’m just letting you all know because there seems to be a lot of anxiety/uncertainty on here about being contacted regarding the waitlist.
@ramennoobles have there been many? 10-ish? 20-ish?
still nothing ;_; they replied to the letter of continued interest that i sent before, but it’s been several days since then.
i’m losing hope. then again… i probably let myself get my hopes up too much.
hey if you still haven’t heard back, I think that’s a good sign since they still may be considering you! Unfortunately, I received this email:
Thank you for your patience with us these last few weeks. I am writing with an update, but regrettably, also with news that we will not be able to include you in our entering class. We had been hopeful to invite more students like you to join us at Pomona, but it is clear that very few, if any, additional spaces will develop during the summer. In order to provide closure to this process, we are releasing the bulk of the remaining students from our wait list now.
We do wish you the best for your educational experience and have appreciated your patience and interest in Pomona College.

just for completeness sake in case anyone looking at this thread for next yr for information.
