Hey guys, I was wondering since Cornell and a few other very competitive schools require 2 or even 3 SAT II scores (such as Georgetown), do those scores really factor into that much of the admissions process? Assuming that one has a strong/competitive SAT I and GPA and EC's and such, would a couple of lackluster Subject tests really put them out of contention? I would say that my SAT is in the upper 50% for Cornell admitted but my only two subject tests as of right now are in the mid to low 600s. I'm guessing that someone with an amazing SAT, etc. wouldn't have to worry but someone who is in the middle ground, could it really ruin their whole application?

SAT 2 scores are mainly used to verify your grades in that subject. If you have a 90 in a class they will expect 700+ sat 2 scores
