Pop Culture of our childhoods

^ CINNAMON??!

wipes eyes Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper are building their family.
Time flies…

I don’t remember Butt Ugly Martians probably since they’re so butt ugly, but they remind of that one Jimmy Neutron movie…

Club Penguin, Neopets, and Webkinz were my ish.
Arthur (still watch it today), Sagwa, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon were my favorite shows

Still play a good amount of pokemon video games and yugioh card games.

In terms of TV show, just about everything on PBS kids, especially Arthur, Clifford, CYBERCHASE!

Cyberchase was that show! Used to still watch it in middle school when I had the chance.

Boop boop dee doo. Here’s number two! Anyone remember Shana’s Show on Disbey Channel?

^I never watched disney till one of my friends told me about Zack and Cody in 3rd grade

Never. Watched. Disney.
Did you at least watch Nickelodeon?

Strong Bad.

Backyard Baseball. PABLO SANCHEZ <3

ZOOM. On WB11.

Zoombini Island.

I used to be obsessed with Cutthroat pool on Pogo.com.

Webkinz. Kooky Pens. Dragon Tales. Cyberchase. Arthur…tons of other stuff…I don’t think they show Cyberchase that much anymore…I’ve checked a few times this summer at 3 and Cyberchase is gone!!! Oh, I also liked Ruff Ruffman…

Habbo, Neopets, Hot Shot Business, and Millsberry (you guys restored my memory)

And then Zoom, Chalkzone, All Grown Up, El Tigre. american dragon, Brandy and Mr Whiskers, Dave the Barbarian, The Replacements. Power Puff Gurls, The Grim Adventures. zoombini island (i always lost), poptropica, fosters home for imaginary friends, catscratch, Rocko’s Modern Life, as told by ginger.

I listed way too much

Keenan and Kel, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Gameboy, i could go oooon and oooon :smirk:

I was too old for Webkinz (I was 12 when that was popular. My little sister who’s a freshman, was really into them though). Did any of you play with the loving family dollhouse people? (They are normal size unlike barbies and Polly Pocket.) My old bestfriend and I used to be obsessed with them.

Beanie Babies were also big. I remember leaving like 30 of mine at one of my brother’s baseball games and being so mad at myself for doing that. I was like 5, lol.

Rocket Power, anyone?

I played with Polly Pockets, Bratz, and Barbies. No normal sized dolls for me. They creep me the heck out. I had one Webkinz but never logged on. I just kept it as a stuffed animal.

I had sooo many Beanie Babies and stuffed animals in general. They’re all in bags in the garage since they could easily take up a third of my room.

Rocket Power. Man I had a crush on one of the guys. That show was it.

Blues Clues has changed so much since we were little. I was watching it with my 2-year-old nephew and barely recognized everything, lol. Franklin has also changed (My nephew LOVES that one.). Pooh is basically gone (they have some weird version now on Disney).

When I watch these videos (we still have a VCR and the tapes) with my little sister (who’s 6), I love when it says, “Coming Soon in Fall 1998,” lol.

This is so ironic that a thread on childhood pop culture was started. A friend and I just had a very long conversation, complete with lyrics, about the Backstreet Boys…

I hated Bratz, lol. Their big eyes were just weird, lol.

When I said normal size, I meant medium sized. I couldn’t have the Polly Pockets because 2 of my sisters are 3 and 5 years younger than me so they were choking hazards for them. My friend had one of those huge dolls that was 3 feet tall; now that was a creepydoll. Lol

Backyard sports computer games… Old Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network… Furbies, anyone? They’re coming back, but still.

I actually loved Bratz but I loved my Tamagotchi more!!
But I also played a lot of actual board games like checkers, Life, and Monopoly.

Oh Furbies…
I remember when I was little everyone wanted to go to space camp haha.

I remember seeing the commercials for Moon sand! I also remember Tom and Jerry, but it’s still alive (I think)
