Portfolio Letter?

I went to an in-person portfolio review at Carnegie about a month ago. According to my app. status check, they tried to sent me a 'portfolio letter' on feb 16th, then they began to check my application on the 24th.

1) is a portfolio letter a letter that tells me if my portfolio was accepted or not?

2) does this mean that they've probably accepted my portfolio, if they had just began to read my file 8 days after sending me a portfolio letter?

S also did a portfolio review at the SBW but his status shows no action on this. Should there be something in his “where am I in the process?” I may call next week if I don’t see anything. Awful to think that you get rejected becasue paperwork got messed up.

I just called Carnegie! The man there said that they had not sent me anything; they never send out decisions on portfolios. I misread it; they meant to say that they had sent my portfolio results to general admissions, but it was in the ‘sent items’ file, so I read that as sent to me. No need to worry!
