I have a friend on this University, and he told me that is a great university. I am not that convinced so what do you think about it? :)

It’s a mediocre public university. It all comes upon your grades and your will.

my brother went there and one is currently going and they both like it! I have been on campus and it’s pretty nice and big! you will see a lot of diversity and it seems pretty fun to be around… I am not sure about the academics, but my brother who has a master from there got a great job really fast!

Portlandia!

I love PSU, because I’m going to PSU. Amazing campus, with many things to offer and located in the middle of downtown portland. you’ll love it here, each rainy day means you have to stay in and study. It is perfect if you want to get good grades. Also, there are lots of student, meaning that no matter how weird you are, you will find people like you!.

Just normal state university.
Neither bad or good.

it’s very commuter, which for an international student is a major downside since it means fewer people who hang out on weekends, fewer activities offered and fewer people to join, etc.
For internationals, it’s rather important to choose a residential campus since you won’t have friends&family nearby. A residential environment will help you make friends faster and integrate onto campus life more easily.

Yeah, it doesn’t have a campus; that is, there is not a specific area where all the college-related buildings are located. They are all scattered around, so it’s not really convenient. Another reason why I didn’t apply to PSU…
