@gogetta For all it’s worth, we asked Yale specifically if SCEA would be allowed for Posse candidates, and they said it’s fine, except once Posse becomes binding (e.i. you progress to the final), you have to withdraw your SCEA application. I cannot guarantee that all ED/restrictive EA schools have the same policy though

for those who are finalists, do we need to apply the matched college through Common App as ED, or leave it as RD and wait until Posse to help you on essays?
Before COVID, there was a parent informational meeting for different colleges, where the list of actions and materials that are required, and the timeline of these, was handed out, and appointments were made for dropping off the application (though these could be made over the next couple of days, if some finalists needed time to decide whether they would continue to the last interview).
Basically, finalists put together an ED application through Common App, but would neither sign nor submit the application. The finalist would print all of the application with all of the supplemental material, and take it to the Posse office for a 45 minute meeting with a Posse staff member who would look over it, see what was missing, etc. The finalist would then sign and submit the application while in the Posse office. I think that the hard copy of the application remained at the Posse office.
Since such a meeting is not possible now, both the parent meeting and the drop-off appointment will almost certainly be over zoom or something, and the materials will likely be emailed to Posse as PDF attachments or something.
In any case, the application should likely be an ED application. Those who are not selected as Scholars are released from the ED agreement. That is, of course, only for colleges with ED applications.
@YMBA6688, we had our mandatory family meeting this past Wednesday. My child is going to have the virtual 1-1 meeting with the Posse trainer sometime next week and she will get an email by EOD on Monday with the virtual meeting information. They asked her to have all her application and essays including supplemental essays ready when she goes to the meeting and have all the recommendations and Official transcript emailed to them.
Posse Miami, and no I have no clue, I’m still waiting for them to get back to me but at this point I’m sure it’s a no 
Same, I am from LA and my number one choice, apparently which is Northwestern everyone for it was matched for that school. I basically lost hope. I might just hail mary it and just apply ED to this school that I always wanted to go to .

@mailifeishard sorry I’m from LA not Atlanta, but I’m also a semi-finalist waiting to hear back. I’ve already basically withdrawn though because I applied ED to a non-Posse school because based on what I heard about LA results going out, it didn’t look good for me and I didn’t want to miss out on this other school I want to go to.
@mailifeishard we are at ATL and got the finalist email on last Thursday morning. Received phone call first Wednesday afternoon.

@nosleepstillweak We were not matched to our #1 school and will made our decision after the mandatory parents meeting with the school this week.
@maryx123 I think it was the glitch about a week ago. All the DAP2 semi-finalists received this message in their accounts.
