Hello, I’m a sophomore in high school and I want to apply for the POSSE program in my senior/junior year? I’ve recently heard about the program from my junior friends who just recently went to a meeting about the progra. It made me interested in applying as well; however, I have some questions. Like, when is the deadline for the applications because I would really like to put POSSE down on my college application for early action in senior year (and you can only do it during senior year as well). I just really want to know when the applications will be due for POSSE. This is mainly because I want to apply for early action (November 1st I believe?) for my colleges in senior year, but I’m afraid I wont even get to put POSSE in my college application since I wont even know if I got accepted by POSSE by then. It would be great if you guys could give me additional information and tips about the program. Btw I live in the Boston district. Thank you.
You do not apply for POSSE. You are nominated by your school (nominations for the 2018-2019 college year is taking place now for rising seniors). It is a leadership scholarship
While you are nominated by your school is is the college that will make the ultimate decision to accept you into posse
Ohhh yeah I get it now lol. I’ve asked my friends too and I realized how if you get chosen, you need to actually go to that college lol
