Possibility of transferring to Georgia Institute of Technology

Hi, I am a freshman student from Thailand currently studying Computer Science major in Mahidol University International College. I have finished my 1st term with not so good GPA due to unfortunate situations (hopefully will able increase it in upcoming terms).I had a plan to transfer to Georgia Tech for a few months now. I went to their website and checked out their Course Requirements by Major ( http://www.admission.gatech.edu/images/pdf/Course_Requirements_by_Major_March_2015.pdf ) and in the Computer Science row the Lab Sci Elective “sequence” is a requirement. Unfortunately the university where I am currently in does not have Lab Sci Elective “sequence”. The only options they have are non-sequence lab-lecture courses. Here are the list of the courses ( http://www.muic.mahidol.ac.th/eng/?page_id=4272 ). As in the list, is it possible for me to choose two courses for example, General Geology or Ecosystems and Natural Resources or Introduction to Astronomy or Essentials of Marine Life as a substitute for Lab Elective “sequence” since they are technically earth and atmospheric sciences. I have a feeling that i cant do that, but can anyone give me any advice on what I can possibly do about the Lab Science Electives? Thank you!

Sincerely,
Student with despair

Ask the engineering dept. to get the most accurate answer.
By the way, can you pay?

Hi paul2752, thanks for taking your time to read my post. I forgot to mention earlier about the fact that I am not in a good financial state now and might change my mind later if the situation gets worse. By the way, I am not sure how I can contact the engineering dept.

Just send an email.
If you dont have money and not so good GPA applying for the state university is pointless
