Do I have any chance?

Anybody? Chance me? Please?

You should definitely get into UMich and probably Cornell/Carnegie/JHU. The others are so competitive now, and it's really a crapshoot for everyone... with a higher CR score on your SAT, i think you'd have a really good chance at all schools. Also, a lot obviously depends on essays/recs/etc.

You have the best chance at Northwestern. However, all those schools are super competetive (which I'm sure you know). What is your uw gpa? do you have major acheivements in your ECs (leadership, awards?)

You should apply to more safeties.

Reach: Duke, Penn (pretty unlikely), JHU, Cornell, Northwestern
Match: CMU, Rice, Michigan, Georgetown

you might want to think about some safeties

interesting, swirlygirl you're saying I'm a match for Northwestern but Egypt you're saying Northwestern is a reach. Anyone else?

Northwestern seems like (more of) a match b/c of the weighted GPA and decent test scores. however, I don't know your uw, which is what will make the difference, probably.

You might want to consider EDII for one of the schools, if you have a first choice and they offer the option.

Oh, okay thanks. Anyone else with some opinions?
