Possible hope for me?

I'm only a high school junior who has a somewhat interest in aerospace engineering.

HOWEVER, the problem is that I've been struggling in Pre-Calculus Honors. I think it's just the way the teacher teaches. Like randomly, she calls on people she knows to do the example problems or homework problems. Worst part, she now knows a few friends and I so we get called on everyday. My personality is that I like to learn by not being called to attention and from learning from example problems.

Has any engineer here(preferably aero, mech,EE, or CS) have any trouble in precalc but do well in College Calculus?

I didn’t have any trouble in pre-calc but my teacher was a really cool old guy who liked to teach old-school style. I learned a lot from him. I think it’s definitely a possibility that your teacher’s style is something that you don’t like or something that you have a hard time learning from but you’re gonna have to deal with that kinda stuff when you’re in college. Even moreso than when you’re in high school. So the decision is up to you and you still have time to think about it. Enjoy your junior year meanwhile.

I go a 3.2 in HS. I believed I was naturally smart and never studied. All my friends got 4.0s and did consistently well. I didn’t. I got mad.

Now I’m a senior in EE with a 3.91.

If you care enough, you can do it.
