Possible letter. Now what?

So guys.... if you got a possible letter, what are you going to do between now and the time when regular decision letters come out? Nothing? Update your resume, etc?

It’s been awhile since I’ve been this through process and I applied RD, but as far as I know, there’s nothing you can do to affect your result at this point. The “curse” of EE is that if you do get a Possible result, you’re left in limbo for awhile just waiting… it’s not a great feeling, but you’ll find out one way or another with the RD results.

The only advice I have for you is to take this time and relax. Try to forget about this process and instead, get a new hobby or go back to one that you’ve neglected while finishing up college applications, try out a new sport, hang out with friends, catch up on some TV shows you’ve missed out on. Don’t try to analyze everything every which way because it will drive you crazy and won’t get you anywhere (though in some ways, if you don’t try that at least once Wellesley might not be the best fit for you… )

I mean I want to relax but obviously I am kinda worried that I’ll end up on the waitlist.

I sent Wellesley a letter of interest, an email to my interviewer so she could write back to admissions, an updated resume with awards, internships and grades, and pictures from my art portfolio just to be safe b/c this is my top choice.

It sounds like you’ve covered all your bases. Now take a deep breath and relax :)

Yes, I’ll add that you seem to have been proactive in contacting Wellesley to show them that you remain interested. Good luck to you!

thanks @mariecc1. i hope it all works out!

I’ve got my fingers crossed for you @kendrickgirl!!

thanks so much @berries123

Is it too late to send in a musical supplement?

Yes - unfortunately at this point in the game I think it is too late for a musical supplement. The only thing that might help is, like other posters mentioned, a letter of interest. But good luck! Fingers crossed for you and Kendrickgirl!!

thanks @carbs2 for the support. i did everything i could including talking to my interviewer who wrote a letter to the admissions board.
