So, I’m pretty much an A-B student, with ~11 AP’s under my belt as of this year. My Cumulative GPA is approx 4.4, however it might drop to 4.1-4.0 because of senior year. My senior year grades will drop to a weighted GPA of 4.0, as my final grades will be pretty much straight 87’s (B+), 1 A (93), 1 low to mid B, and C’s in my AP Physics course. AP Physics was my issue this year. It’s split up into two semester courses (AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2). In Physics 1 I got a 79, and in Physics 2 I got a 75 (These are the final grades) Is it likely I’ll have my honors college acceptance revoked?
My final weighted GPA senior year will be ~4.0-4.1, so my cumulative HS GPA will prob drop to 4.2-4.3.
Called about dropping a class to see if there were any repercussions on scholarship or anything else. The only thing they cared about was if the course was required for the USC entrance requirements. The impression was that as long as the entrance requirements were still satisfied, it does not matter. I don’t think it is possible to re-evaluate the entire HC class to see if they each satisfy requirements that are somewhat arbitrary. I don’t think you need to worry.
